  Job Description:

Position:  Field Service Technician I (M2 Bradley Mechanic)
Location:  Fort Cavazos, TX
Duration: 8-12 months (temporary role with ability to extend or be directly hired)
Pay Rate:  $26.40 (Possible H&W additional benefits)
Start Date:  as soon as possible or until Filled / Closed
Troubleshoots minor technical issues
Documents the problem, develops procedures, and communicates recommended corrective action to the customer
May assist in planning, estimating, and scheduling required personnel and equipment for assigned field service projects
Assists in analyzing system deficiencies and provides input to recommended design changes to engineering
Assembles, installs, tests, maintains, and repairs products and ensures products are in compliance with customer requirements
Assists in resolving sensitive field service issues such as scheduling conflicts and funding concerns with customers
Assists in pre-overhaul inspections and the preparation of discrepancy reports
Serves as point of contact with customers, suppliers, and division management regarding schedules, technical issues, and administrative matters
Maintains configuration control databases and is responsible for logistical functions for assigned field service projects
perform other duties as assigned by Leadership


  Requirements:


General Mechanic experience required. Heavy equipment mechanic, Bradley Fighting Vehicle specific preferred
gain access to U.S. Military facilities (possible Military Clearance)
Domestic is Travel of 10%
valid State Driver s License
standard employment background screening
U.S. Citizen; legally permitted to work in the U.S.
High School Diploma (or GED)
