Job Description

This is a unique opportunity that calls for a motivated, hard-working, and highly analytical Finance professional to join the Digital Partnerships Finance team. The Digital Partnerships Finance team serves as a strategic business partner for business leaders in Global & NA Digital Partnerships, providing essential finance support. The candidate will be a key member of the highly visible Digital Partnerships Finance team and collaborate across a matrixed organization focusing on business performance reporting, maintaining database drivers, support process improvement, and maintaining financial models. Prior strategic finance or banking experience highly valued.

Essential Functions:

Lead in the maintenance of a large and complex dataset of drivers and revenue for hundreds of Digital PartnersCollaborate and coordinate with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiativesSupport the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis to deliver ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/annual reports of Partner trendsEvaluate existing financial models and seek opportunities to introduce new tools and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies (i.e. Self-serve dashboards)Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the business.Is team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilitiesThrives on an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented

This is a hybrid position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in Finance are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

4-5 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, experience with complex financial or data systems such as Hyperion, Tableau, or SQL is a plusFoundational understanding of multi-party payment model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)Proven expertise in modeling techniques, managing large datasets, and business performance measurement/reportingOutstanding analytical and quantitative skills, ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analysesDemonstrated ability to improve processes via automation and end-to-end efficienciesAbility to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management and produce time sensitive deliverablesAttention to detail and accuracy are extremely criticalBe eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
