We are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our client situated in the Bay Area California. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will contribute to our operations by harnessing your expertise in financial modeling, analytics, and communication. This position is in a fast-paced startup environment and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and take ownership of sales capacity and productivity models
• Collaborate with sales and operations to enhance processes and improve forecasting accuracy
• Regularly prepare, analyze, and report key financial and operating metrics to internal and external stakeholders and identify trends
• Track progress and provide recommendations on areas for improvement based on your analysis
• Lead the development and improvement of financial planning and data systems
• Manage ad-hoc projects for the executive management team
• Utilize your skills in Data Modeling, Microsoft Excel, Accounting Principles, and Sales Finance to optimize financial operations.
• Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally as a Financial Analyst or equivalent.
• Possess strong skills in Data Modeling.
• Have proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for complex financial calculations and data analysis.
• Have a firm understanding and practical experience with Accounting Principles.
• Experience in Sales Finance is preferred
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a must.
• Proficiency in using financial software and platforms for analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
