Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Supply Chain Quality Manager Location: Hampton, NJ Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our team Influential individual contributor that leads the management and development of the quality activities for establishing a process to manage suppliers to understand and support requirements of supplying Linde's semiconductor customer base through Supplier Direct and Linde EG&SP production plants. This position is part of the Linde process for selecting new suppliers, managing suppliers, evaluating suppliers, assessing suppliers, tracking business continuity planning (BCP) and change control procedures, and interfacing with suppliers. This position works closely with Linde procurement, Linde product management, EG&SP operations, and EG&SP Quality & Process Control Systems. This position reports to the EG&SP Associate Director, Quality. What you will be doing: Managing and facilitating the supplier quality audit program Performing selected supplier quality audits Managing and facilitation evaluation of Suppliers Corrective Action Requests per the QIR system. Manages the Linde supplier evaluation process utilizing the Linde SESPA management program. Interfacing with key suppliers, Linde stakeholders and customers regarding supply quality program development and performance, and supplier continuous improvement initiatives. Manage the Linde program to assess Change Control, BCP, and Capacity updates from suppliers. In coordination with procurement, product management, and sales send out capacity updates, new requirements, and detailed supplier communications as required with new information to support Linde supply plans. Manage the Supplier Quality Addendum (SQA) process with Linde suppliers. Support key customer regarding management of Linde quality systems, problem solving, and new product introduction in support of the sales process.
Qualifications: What makes you great: Associate degree preferred in an engineering, quality, or science discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality, engineering, or operations function in the electronic gases industry preferred. Strong knowledge of semiconductor customer quality and operational requirements. Supply quality assessment and process control systems (PCS) experience preferred. Strong knowledge of industry safety standards. Experience with electronic gases and technical product, valve and packaging knowledge preferred. Proficient with quality methodologies and systems (e.g. problem solving, 8D investigations, complaint response, FMEA, root cause analysis) preferred. Certified quality auditor, quality engineer or certified quality manager preferred. Must have the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels. Must possess excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and statistical software tools).
