The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical inspection, with a focus on precision measurement and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).HOW A QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
Document inspection results and generate detailed reports.
Communicate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
High School Diploma/GED.
3+ years of related experience.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools, including but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, surface plates, and optical comparators.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
NDT experience a plus.
Machinist experience is highly valued.
