OverviewThe Steel Trades Tool Room Attendant will need to read and understand the EB policies and procedures regarding multiple tool and material handling, understanding and administering tool room responsibilities of proper receiving, handling, control, calibration, safety and electrical inspections, APL and QPL identification in the performance of the issuance of tools and materials. Must be willing to get and maintain EB e-mail account.QualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of relevant shipyard, manufacturing or trade experience
Schedule, order, track and prioritize tool crib type materials for EBCORP tool rooms including interfacing with trades all level of management
Participate in company and customer audit procedures
Move pallets of crib materials and stock crib materials in an orderly fashion, contingent with any EBCORP procedures
Use of Stairs and Ladders
Need to be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs, stand for extended period of time, twist, bend, kneel and stoop
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance to enter all areas of the shipyard (CIA)

Must be able to work until the end of the normal scheduled shift hours

Work overtime as required to cover extended hours and weekends

Preferred: Prior experience in some tooling related occupation
Skills
General knowledge of multiple trade industrial tooling
Familiarity with construction materials as they relate to welding consumable issue
Have a high propensity to learn and operate the ATICTS system tool tracking computer programming including report running, creating part numbers, receiving and entering inventory
Have the ability to master other related programming such as MRPII for materials ordering
Be able to work safely in an environment of heavy and/or awkward products (I.E: knowledge of when to use mechanical assistance versus manual lifting)
