Support the identification, development, and application of all elements of the tool and equipment calibration process, including record control, timely and accurate processing, internal and external communication, continual gauge status, and overall flow.
Perform basic calibration for hand tools and equipment following established work instructions.
Maintain the master calibration database by ensuring complete and accurate records for all tools and equipment.
Contact, coordinate and work with suppliers to schedule onsite and offsite calibration activities.
Coordinate downtime scheduling with leads and supervisors to minimize the impact of tool and equipment shortages.
Oversee identification, organization and flow of tools and equipment in the calibration area.
Assist in the monitoring and execution of data collection plans.
Monitor and track information within spreadsheets and databases, as well as action item commitments and due dates, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of commitments and activities while achieving high levels of quality performance.
Support data flow and identification on area continuous improvement boards.
Support kaizen activity and related activities.
Support manufacturing operations, including quality trending and data analysis, and assist with containment initiatives.
