Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. This role operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities: The primary duties of this role include maintaining, servicing, and repairing production machinery, CNC equipment, and other facility apparatus. Responsibilities encompass diagnosing and troubleshooting operational challenges, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing routine inspections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing necessary documentation and updating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as required, alongside executing various projects and tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will be self-driven and possess a robust electrical and controls background, along with fundamental knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Allen-Bradley Logix 5000). Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Experience with hydraulic systems, machining, and welding is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge and experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), HMIs, AC drives, and other industrial control components.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to utilize electrical meters, calibration devices, and other troubleshooting tools.
  • Working knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems, as well as power and control circuits.
  • Good mechanical aptitude with experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to interpret and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings.
  • Capability to install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and components of industrial manufacturing equipment.
