We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect. ResponsibilitiesPerforming all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and critical care settings. Oversight and management of all Blood Gas related duties including but not limited to; blood gas machine maintenance/troubleshooting, Respiratory Care staff blood gas training/annual competencies, RT staff direct annual observations, and OR staff direct annual observations. QualificationsJob Requirements: Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care programCurrent RCP Texas State LicenseMandatory completion of NBRC Advanced Practitioner (registry) examLicensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)Current BLS certificationCurrent ACLS, PALS and NRP certificationCompletion of NBRC Advanced Practitioner (registry) examCurrent NBRC credentialsPreferred Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, with at least two years of training and/or experience in nonwaived testing - preferred
