Become part of our team and start your career at PALFINGER.Palfinger USA, LLC is currently seeking Production Mechanic in the Forest Park, GA area. The candidate will have experience in automotive or Class 8 truck repair. This position reports to the Shop Foreman.Your Responsibilities Perform general assembly on truck bodies, cranes, and bodies, Participant in the care and upkeep of the shop and all equipment and tools, Installation of various accessories and components (toolboxes, lights, vices, and cranes), Work effectively within a team and individually, Work with team (Production, Engineering) to troubleshoot any mechanical, body, or electrical issues. Training will be provided for troubleshooting, All other duties as assigned, Be able to work overtime as needed.
_____Your Qualifications Proficiency in 12V or 24V wiring (some experience preferred), must be mechanically inclined (6 - 12 months preferred), be able to use and read tape measure, Basic math skills, Must supply some tools, Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions, must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 10-50 pounds periodically, Must be a team player, Must speak, read and write English. PALFINGER proprietary tools will be provided.
