About Re:Build Manufacturing

Re:Build Manufacturing is a dynamic product development and engineering consulting firm that rekindles America's manufacturing base. We create meaningful, sustainable jobs in areas that have been deindustrialized over the past 20-30 years.

We employ technology, systems, deep financial resources, and best management practices to compete and win as manufacturers in the global market. Our goal is to make a difference in the US Manufacturing economy and the communities in which we operate.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring experienced mechanical engineers who are excited for the variety and challenge of product development. In this role, you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment.

You'll join a group of talented engineers to lead the development of new technologies and bring new products to market. You will be a lead technical contributor in addition to leading client communication and project management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Creative problem solvers who can connect scientific theory with engineering design to create novel products
  • Strong communicators who can convey the merit of solutions to our clients' challenges
  • Hands-on craftspeople who like to build breadboards and refined prototypes
  • Life-long learners who can take on a challenge in an unfamiliar field and quickly contribute to solutions
  • Collaborators that enjoy working in teams of scientists, electrical engineers, optical engineers, manufacturing partners, and industrial designers
  • Results-oriented engineers who thrive in a streamlined environment, using the right tools and minimizing bottlenecks to get the job done
  • Mentors who enjoy engaging with less experienced engineers to get great work done
  • Organized thinkers who can guide clients through the big picture while deep diving into the technical details

Requirements and Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 6-10 year of industry experience
  • Broad technical background and the desire to learn more
  • 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience with a range of manufacturing processes is a plus (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
  • Experience designing biomedical products or industrial automation a plus
  • Experience in consulting is a plus

The BIG Payoff

We offer a competitive salary of $100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and ownership opportunities.
