Job Description

We're excited to invite you to our Hiring Day event The Patient Financial Services Department is seeking a Specialist I, Patient Financial Services to work in collaboration with the MSK clinical and administrative staff, patients, and insurance carriers. In this role, you will play an integral role in MSK's ability to expand access to care by working with insurance carriers to pursue the maximum reimbursement for care. Qualifications:Effective communication skillsSelf-motivated and results-orientedDesire for personal growth and readiness to tackle challengesResponsibilities:Verify insurance benefitsStay informed about insurance carrier guidelinesCommunicate changes in requirementsEducate and counsel patients on insurance coverageRequirements:Strong written and verbal communication abilitiesCapability to work independentlyPrevious experience in patient or customer service preferred#li-hybrid This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to travel to our NYC sites as needed. Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Range: $25.65 - $38.42Training Schedule: 9am – 5pm over the course of 10 weeks.
