Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Account Manager to drive growth in new and existing utility and private sector accounts. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage renewals, identify untapped opportunities, and lead a team of Project Managers (PMs) to ensure excellence in project execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive private sector experience working with large budgets and the ability to incorporate best practices and streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Growth & Renewals: Manage and expand new utility and private sector accounts, ensuring the successful renewal of contracts and cultivating long-term client relationships.
Opportunity Development: Proactively identify and introduce opportunities to clients that align with their strategic goals and offer solutions they may not have considered.
Private Sector Expertise: Leverage deep experience working with large-scale budgets to deliver on financial targets and ensure alignment with client expectations.
Best Practices Implementation: Incorporate industry-leading best practices and processes into account management to drive efficiency and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, fostering strong, strategic partnerships and advocating for client success.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client objectives, ensuring seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an Account Manager or similar role, particularly in the utility or private sector managing large budgets.
Strong ability to identify new business opportunities and strategically grow accounts.
Expertise in implementing best practices and improving processes to optimize client results.
Experience leading and mentoring a team of Project Managers, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Demonstrated ability to manage large accounts and complex projects effectively.
Prior manageial experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the utility or energy sectors is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate client needs and market trends.
