Head of Programme Management

Program Manager with a delivery record and proven program management experience to own a significantly complex and cross-organization building design initiative for our faster than Same Day fulfillment centers. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including under-the-roof and on-the-road processes, engineering product solutions and development of long term roadmaps. This role will play a critical role in designing the future building design solutions for the Sub-Same Day business. It requires a high-level of ownership over the strategic design and implementation, the ability to think outside of the box, willingness to disrupt the current processes to create a new process, the ability to understand one-way vs two-way doors, make trade-off decisions and influence stakeholders. This role will scope highly complex building design solutions, identify risks/opportunities in strategies, effectively force multiple and communicate to senior management to accelerating business progress.
Driving significant complex building design solutions to improve the end-to-end fulfillment process (cost and quality)
* Partnering with cross-organizational teams to plan, organize and execute building design enhancements to achieve our 2024 goals.
* Gathering and analyzing data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global standards for operations and other cross functional teams
* Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations
* High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
* Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
* Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
4+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
