Part time social work position (20 hours) to provide a wide range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents and families in our Hematology inpatient unit.
This Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
Providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, counseling, complex resource coordination, and psychosocial consultation to the medical team.
Participating in program development with Hematology Social Work Team and BMF multidisciplinary team to create and enhance patient/family psycho-education, developmentally appropriate interventions and continuity of care efforts.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Social Work, LCSW required. LICSW preferred
Experience in health care environment with inpatient experience preferred.
Knowledge of child protection system helpful.
Spanish language skills strongly preferred.
Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This is a 20 hour/week position that is eligible for part time benefits, and a $2,500 sign on bonus
Schedule: (Job share position with another BCH social worker)
Wednesdays 12:30-5
Thursday 8:30-5
Fridays 8:30-5
