Sapphire Nursing at Wappingers, a premier long term skilled nursing facility located in Dutchess County has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNA’s for all weekend shifts. Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. We look forward to meeting with you to discuss professional opportunities at our facility.
Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
Ambulates and transports residents.
Weighs residents.
Documents on flow sheets.
Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.
Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
