If so, unit 72 is the Med-Surg Neuro-Stroke unit for you You will have the opportunity to master skills such as insulin drips, heparin drips, peritoneal dialysis, chest tubes, trachs, tube feeding, NGT placement, peripheral IV placement, blood and biologic administration.
Our Nursing team members are trained to care for patients with acute neurological deficits; Unit 72 is the first unit to pilot an RN-LPN-PCT staffing model. Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
A minimum of two years patient care experience preferred (within the last 5 years).
Computer skills preferred.
Current BLS (CPR) Healthcare provider certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
