Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to become a valuable member of our organization. In this role, you will provide direct support to clients, adhering to individualized care plans within their residences. Your compassionate nature will shine through as you deliver tailored and attentive assistance while fostering meaningful connections with those in your care. Attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment are essential for success in this position. Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary. Previous experience in Home Health or Hospice settings is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with daily tasks, including transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or vehicles
  • Assist with household duties such as changing linens, laundry, cleaning, and personal hygiene
  • Document patient care, conditions, progress, or concerns to relay observations to the supervising staff
  • Foster relationships with clients through conversation or reading to promote mental well-being
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as required
  • Encourage clients to participate in exercises or other engaging activities
  • Ability to prepare traditional Indian dishes.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide training program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR certification is mandatory
