Position Overview
We are seeking a Home Care Aide to provide essential support to patients in their residences. This role involves delivering compassionate and individualized care while fostering meaningful connections with those you assist. You should be meticulous, well-organized, and dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere that addresses the needs of each patient. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for success in this position. Previous experience in Home Health or Hospice care is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with daily tasks such as transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or vehicles
  • Assist with household duties including changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, and personal care
  • Document patient care, condition, progress, or concerns to share with the supervising staff
  • Engage with patients through conversation or reading to promote mental well-being
  • Administer medications and vaccinations
  • Encourage patients to participate in exercises or other activities
  • Ability to prepare traditional Indian dishes.
Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide training program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR certification is mandatory
