BrightPath Behavior provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with developmental disabilities, ages two through seven, in a caring and learning center-based environment, where patients thrive and therapists grow. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience, enjoys small caseloads, and is willing to work some direct with kids when needed. We’re inspired to do things better than they’ve been done before and truly believe that happy therapists provide better therapies, which in turn advances patient progress. The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the growth and overall performance of each clinic within their assigned region. The Regional Director works closely with each Clinic Director to achieve stated company goals, metrics, projects, and initiatives. The Regional Director serves as the primary liaison between cross-functional departments and each of their assigned clinics. This position functions under minimal supervision. The Regional Director is not responsible for carrying a regular caseload but may be required to step in to support clients during transitional periods, depending on business needs.

In consultation with the business and clinical operations teams, caseload metrics for each clinic within the assigned region are subject to change at any time for various reasons, including the addition of staff, use of more efficient technology platforms, changes in insurance reimbursement rates, and other unforeseen business factors. The Regional Director is responsible for helping each clinic adjust to such changes if they occur. In partnership with the Outreach and Client Intake departments, conducts in-person tours with prospective clients at each clinic location in the assigned region, per company standards and procedures; Provides introductions with clinical staff, including but not limited to, the Clinic Director at a respective location
coordinates with clinical quality team for final review
In coordination with the Billing Services department, participates in financial responsibility meeting with potential client
Coordinates with Clinic Directors and other clinic leads to establish client start dates
Establish and manage exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients and families to improve clients’ cognitive, language, social and self-help skills, and enable clients’ success in the environments in which they live, learn and play
Support the development and implementation of unique treatment plans to achieve clients’ treatment goals
Conducts consistent program reviews to ensure a high degree of clinical excellence for clients, including analysis of progress for skill acquisition and behavior reduction, to ensure appropriate progress is made, maintained and generalized
Provides consistent formal and informal feedback to all ABA service providers who render direct care to patients on the BCBA’s caseload, ensure the client’s insurance carrier requirements and Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards are met or exceeded, and ensure a high degree of treatment integrity, including feedback during overlaps, a minimum of 10% supervision, and written documented feedback regarding performance
Participates in supervision opportunities to review client progress, identify appropriate modifications, and collaborate with other team members to support professional development opportunities across the assigned region
Follows general best practice standards and evidence-based interventions in compliance with the behavior analytic literature and consult with peers and direct supervisor as needed, to ensure high-quality of care across locations
Actively improves clinical skills via professional development opportunities and supports training and skill improvement for Clinic Directors, BCBAs, and behavior technicians

Coordinates with BCBAs and Clinic Directors when caregivers request titration of hours to ensure appropriate program placement for clients
Participates in market outreach activities, including lunch and learns as well as building and maintaining partnerships with local school districts, medical offices, universities, service providers, parent and caregiver organizations, as assigned
Obtains and maintains Safety Care and/or other applicable crisis management training; participates in staff training on crisis management and de-escalation techniques
Consults with Director of Clinic Operations (DCO) to ensure that BCBAs have the required tools and training needed to take on a full caseload and can effectively perform their jobs
Monitors and manages the completion of hours and related performance metrics in relation to what is required, authorized, and/or clinically appropriate for clinics within the region
When inefficiencies or areas for optimization are identified, assists Clinic Directors in connecting with the proper internal teams, such as operations, Clinical Quality and Human Resources
Remains in direct communication with caregivers and/or staff when any escalated issues or concerns may arise
Accepts feedback and is willing and able to implement new or modified policies, procedures, and programs
Maintains confidentiality regarding clients’ and families’ personal health information, avoid disclosing any potentially identifying information about patients to non-essential individuals without written permission from caregivers and approval from the employer
Stays informed of the available billing codes per funding source and what is allowed, to ensure billing is in alignment with services provided
Knows, understands and adheres to the contents of the company policy manual, employee handbook, client and caregiver handbook, and all other company policies and procedures
Assists with performance evaluations and performance management of any direct and/or indirect reports
Adheres to company client offboarding policies and procedures
Manages effectively and efficiently by: (1) being responsive to team members’ needs, (2) being organized and implementing effective time management strategies, (3) actively engaging with other service providers, participating in meetings, and being timely, and (4) providing high quality and consistent feedback and supervision to team members
Facilitates initial and ongoing Clinic Director, BCBA, and behavior technician training, to ensure a high level of care and effectiveness in working with individuals across a variety of needs and abilities
Maintains BCBA certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and notify the employer immediately of any changes to your BCBA certification status
Participates in hiring and training of new employees
Uses computers, tablets, telephones, and other office equipment
Attends conferences, as business allows
Completes other projects and duties
Organizational Structure:
Reports to: Director of Clinic Operations (DCO) or as defined per company organizational chart
Key Performance Indicators:
Refer to Regional Director annual performance review
Valid, current driver’s license & current car insurance on vehicle
Fluent in spoken and written English
Knowledge of autism and other developmental disorders
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
