Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $28.00 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Financial Document Preparation:
- - Prepare various financial documents, including business reports, financial forecasts, and statements.
- - Provide insights into the company’s financial health and performance.
- Collaboration with Team Members:
- - Work closely with other team members to prepare financial reports such as Month End Financials.
- - Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Compliance and Legal Requirements:
- - Ensure financial practices adhere to legal requirements.
- - Maintain the company’s financial standing in good order by understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:
- - Learn and manage accounts payable (money owed by the company) and accounts receivable (money owed to the company).
- - Track payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate records.
- Human Resources Procedures:
- - Execute HR procedures related to finance, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and financial reporting related to personnel.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the company’s existing controller, leveraging their expertise, and contributing to the overall financial strategy.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of related experience required
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screen
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
