Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in Partner Management, Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development in the technology industry. 10 years of experience with cloud-based ISV partnerships or Cloud Marketplaces. Experience in one or more business application domains (e.g., WFM, HR, Enterprise Resource Planning). Preferred qualifications Experience at Workday or with direct responsibility for the partnership with Workday. Experience in one or more industry verticals (e.g., Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Media and Entertainment, Telecommunications). Ability to navigate sophisticated and nuanced business conversations in support of Software-as-a-Service solutions and related integrations/ extensions. Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries and with executive stakeholders. About the job In this role, the Global Partner Development Manager plays a critical role in Google Cloud’s relationship with Workday, driving multi‑regional sales strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with global teams, regional PDMs and fostering relationships with Workday’s regional leaders and field teams. The PDM is responsible for defining and driving the Workday and Google Cloud co‑innovation strategy end‑to‑end, from evaluation through market launch, including engaging the appropriate stakeholders from product, engineering, sales and partnerships to execute discovery, validation, business case and proposal binding, funding, sponsorship buy‑in and execution of initiative agreements to memorialize expectations across Workday and Google Cloud. You will also be responsible for the creation of the global go‑to‑market plan and work across the different Workday teams and with peers in the partnerships, sales, specialist and marketing organizations to execute in alignment with our growth imperatives, working within a dynamic environment, adapting their approach to the goals and regional nuances of each market. US base salary range for this full‑time position is $218,000‑$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary is determined by role, level and location, and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Define the global governance model, CxO alignment and partnership cadence. Co‑ordinate the 360° engagement with Workday, collaborating closely with Google Cloud Sales and Procurement, and maximizing value of the partnership across Sell‑To, Buy‑From and Co‑sell. Identify and evaluate new co‑innovation opportunities to expand partnership value. Develop and execute a detailed Global Annual Partner Business Plan with a focus on impact. Collaborate with partner marketing and product marketing stakeholders to support a plan that sources new leads, opportunities for the Workday and Google Cloud partnership while collaborating with SI partner teams at Google and at Workday to ensure GTM alignment and 3‑way sales‑plays.
