About the team The Global Partnerships team develops and manages relationships with our most critical technology and ecosystem partners. The team executes on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with these partners across new products, geographic expansion, user advocacy, and policy. These partnerships have a significant impact on Stripe and the products used by millions of our users. The Crypto Partnerships team, which sits within the Partnerships organization, is a vital arm of Stripe’s crypto ecosystem growth and plays a crucial role in our mission to innovate within the crypto space. Our team is responsible for developing and managing Stripe’s relationships with crypto ecosystem players that enhance Stripe’s suite of crypto products. What You’ll DoWe are looking for a new member to join our team to develop and execute high-impact initiatives with both new and existing crypto partners. In this role, you will be responsible for managing critical aspects of our partner relationships and executing high-impact initiatives that drive our vision forward, including impactful programs. Your efforts will include building compelling internal business cases, spearheading deal negotiations, and ensuring seamless execution, all while coordinating priorities and aligning objectives with both internal teams and our partners. A thorough understanding of the crypto ecosystem is essential, along with a proven track record of building meaningful partnerships by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, etc.). Additionally, you will have the opportunity to interact with senior leaders and executives from our external partners, making your influence felt throughout the organization.ResponsibilitiesLeverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies, and execute deals and initiatives that support Stripe’s crypto strategy Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to drive creation and execution of partner strategyPartner with internal teams to evaluate, prioritize and build out partner programsEnsure best-in-class, methodical partner and deal management rooted in milestone management, KPIs and alignment on opportunities of mutual interestIdentify partner stakeholders who have an aligned vision with Stripe, educate them about Stripe’s value proposition, and build alignment between Stripe and our partner’s executive teamsManage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goalExhibit an operationally focused mindset, with an ability to lead teams through complex relationship management activities by setting a clear vision, and running tight processesNavigate a fast changing environment and develop expertise on Stripe and industry product offeringsWho you areWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. A high agency attitude, ability to raise expectations in changing environments, driving impact through ownership are musts.Minimum Requirements10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in cryptocurrency, stablecoins, or blockchain technology partnerships.Proven track record of driving partnerships in payments, cryptocurrency, financial technology, or financial services.Deep knowledge of DeFi ecosystems and crypto infrastructure, including stablecoin protocols, blockchain networks, and payment solutions.Ability to identify and summarize trends in the crypto ecosystem, providing actionable insights to influence Stripe's product roadmap for crypto.Strong skills in building relationships with existing and new partners to align roadmaps, drive clarity, and ensure effective communication of progress.Extensive experience executing partnership strategies aimed at creating innovative product experiences and go-to-market models.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence various stakeholders both internally and externally.High agency and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle ambiguity and work autonomously. Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Working remotely at Stripe A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live. Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $181,200 - $271,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
