Executive Vice President of Sales – Transportation Our client is a well–established, nationally recognized logistics provider with 20+ asset based locations nationally. Their service offerings include Drayage, Warehousing, Transloading, Full Truck Load, and Container services. USA- Remote. Texas or Southeast preferred Summary: Executive Vice President of Sales/ Chief Commercial Officer is an individual contributor who will be responsible for growing the organization’s overall portfolios across the United States with particular focus on drayage, brokerage, and transportation sales. This position will oversee the onboarding of new clients as well as a focus on renewal strategies and other business opportunities for current clients with a heavy focus in the retail, CPG, home goods, and FMCG industries. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and establish a strong understanding of company’s service offerings and capabilities. Create a comprehensive sales strategy and business plan for the department with a heavy focus on new and existing clients. Lead and manage the sales department including vice presidents, directors, and inside sales managers. Guide the team and provide insight into specific client accounts and opportunities as targets. Evaluate business plan and implement short- and long-term strategies. Build influential relationships with multiple contacts with key clients. Build and maintain a strong working relationship with internal Operations, Finance and Supply chain solutions teams. Participate in key customer visits, quarterly QBR’s and be a conduit for escalations and issues resolution. Be knowledgeable of competitors and industry trends. Education and Experience: BA, BS, degree preferred and or higher degree of education. 10+ years of progressive industry sales experience within transportation operations. High Conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have a background that aligns with client’s industry vertical focus (retail, CPG, home goods, FMCG, electronics, technology, and automotive). 5+ Years’ experience with Salesforce, Dynamics, other technologies. Deep experience with solutions-based sales, i.e., Miller Heiman approach, other. Attributes for Success: Detail Oriented. Strategic thinker. Hunter Mentality. Technology Savvy.
