Overview Harris & Co have been retained by a nationally respected, $500M+ revenue Geotechnical contractor to secure a Vice President to drive their growth in Texas. This is a newly created, senior leadership position with full responsibility for building and scaling a Texas operation. The successful candidate will have a mandate to establish market presence, develop client relationships, win work, and build an operational platform that can scale sustainably. The business operates across specialist ground engineering, geotechnical construction, and complex civil solutions.

The Texas platform is a strategic priority and will receive executive backing, investment, and long-term commitment. This role is suited to a senior operator or commercial leader who wants ownership, influence, and the opportunity to build something meaningful inside an established national organisation.

Responsibilities

Establishing and growing the Texas business unit Developing relationships with GCs, owners, and consultants Driving early project wins and pipeline development Recruiting and leading local operational and commercial teams Managing risk, margin, and delivery standards Representing the business at senior client and industry level Qualifications / Ideal profile Senior leadership experience within geotechnical or adjacent markets MUST have local experience in Texas Strong commercial and operational judgment Proven ability to build teams and win work in competitive markets Entrepreneurial mindset with corporate discipline Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability Opportunity / Benefits A genuine platform to build and lead a regional business Long-term career progression within a national organisation Executive visibility and influence Highly competitive compensation and long-term incentives #J-18808-Ljbffr
