RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phone call and schedule all providers and patient appointments.
- Prepare patient charts during check in.
- Greet patients and maintain and effective and efficient registration process.
- Obtain and enter demographic and insurance information into the system.
- Collect any co-pays shown on patient accounts.
- Schedule patients accurately and effectively for appointments.
- Notify patients of collection policies and procedures.
- Take accurate and complete phone messages for providers and staff.
- Route calls to the appropriate department when needed.
- Notify appropriate staff when supplies are needed and following standard supply protocol.
- Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness and ability to work and travel between all three clinic locations
- Valid Driver's License
- 1+ year customer service or reception experience
- 1+ year medical office experience
- 1+ year experience of working in an EMR system
