Senior Sous Chef – Waldorf Astoria Beverly HillsAs a leading hotel in the luxury market, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at this beautiful property.Classification: Full‑timeShift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.Pay Range: $85,000 per year (based on experience and location).Location: Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, CA.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Executive Chef in overseeing all culinary operations, including preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and cost controls.Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations, training, scheduling, assigning work, and delivering recognition and reward.Implement policies and procedures to uphold operational excellence and profitability.Qualifications• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high‑volume, luxury hotel setting.• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.• Ability to manage cost controls and support financial profitability.• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP.• Adaptability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
