What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to schedule and execute projects
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in the field, facilitating communication between internal teams and contractors
  • Prepare and distribute project-related documents
  • Track project expenditures and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet project objectives
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring all construction activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and client specifications
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain project integrity
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits and regulatory approvals, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, addressing and resolving project-related issues or conflicts promptly, and implementing adjustments as necessary
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among all project participants and investigating and reporting any safety incidents or near misses
  • Additional duties as required.


Qualifications

  • Minimum three (5) years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the outside plant (OSP) that supports telecommunications services (telephone, CATV, and high-speed Internet)
  • Working knowledge of safe construction practices used in building aerial and underground communications networks
  • Must be able to read and work from systems maps.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with project management systems and tools (Wrike, MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Certification in Project Management preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
