The Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for field supervision and coordinating all aspects related to the construction of assigned residential, light commercial, and other construction projects. Key responsibilities include studying specifications to plan procedures for construction, communicating project requirements to the Residential Construction Manager, and ensuring the project master schedules are followed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction personnel
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction specifications and schedules
  • Collaborate with supervisory and management personnel to resolve construction conflicts and improve construction methods
  • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and healthy manner, in accordance with company policies and OSHA guidelines

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in a production home environment for a residential homebuilder constructing at least 150 homes per year required
  • 5+ years of construction supervisory experience preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in residential production in a similar capacity preferred

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Lead Production Superintendent

Supervises: None

Certifications or Licenses: Valid Florida Driver's License with acceptable driving history required
