POSITION OBJECTIVE

The front drive staff are critical for the arrival and departure process. They are the first interaction for guests/patrons visiting the hotel and can set the tone for the guest’s entire visit. Working within the guest services department, this position will set the bar for guest expectations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist all automobiles by offering assistance with arrival, departure, group transportation, driving directions or any services that our guests may request
  • Offer assistance to guests that walk by or perhaps bike up to the hotel
  • Ability to multi-task; be team orientated and resolve challenges that may arise
  • Offer quick retrieval of guests and patron's automobiles
  • Ability to coordinate and work with team to ensure smooth operation of the front drive
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of High School Diploma; preferably college degree in hospitality.
  • Previous hotel/resort experience preferred in a luxury setting.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to drive all types of vehicles
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic cars
  • Past hotel/resort experience preferred in a luxury setting
  • Previous guest services experience preferred
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
  • Varied work schedules, ability to work as it pertains to the needs of hotel guests
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand for long periods on your feet, offer quick retrieval of guests and patron's automobiles.
  • Possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful, hurried environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and transport/load luggage for a vast majority of their shift.
  • Work in an outdoor environment with a wide variety of seasonal temperatures.
  • Ability to drive a variety of automobile types and understand specific car amenities.
  • Must be 21 years of age with a clean MVR
