This is a “hands-on and heartfelt” role Essential Functions: Enthusiastically seeking, anticipating and taking Casa Loma F&B guest requests, according to our Purpose, Pillars and Service Essentials, and departmental service standards. Work closely with leadership and front desk associates to seamlessly anticipate and communicate any guest requests, issues or concerns. Take ownership of the shift, whether AM or PM, to explore and find ways to delight our guests and support the Casa Loma experience. Qualifications: Education: N/A Certificates or Licenses: N/A Experience: Previous guest service experience in a hotel/resort/restaurant/service environment is required. Food & Beverage AND wine knowledge/experience and curiosity are highly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate in a warm, welcoming, anticipatory and knowledgeable manner, particularly information for reasons such as recommendations, directions and hotel offerings. Ability to carry a tray. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing, intermittently for up to 8 hours a day, or more if approved by management. Ability to embrace and follow instructions from supervisors/leadership. Personal Characteristics: Behaves ethically and honestly. Communicates effectively: Speaks and listens and engages in a clear, thorough, and timely manner, effectively reading and writing, using the English language as a primary means of communication. Professional Appearance: Exhibits a polished and professional appearance (Specific grooming standards are available for review).
