Come join us for our exciting next chapter We are seeking an expert dirt person to create and lead our excavation team.

You’ll have the support of our business development, accounting/bookkeeping, and human resources to help grow a thriving division.

This isn’t your typical supervisor position. Think like an entrepreneur – you’re helping to win jobs, work with crews to get them done, and enjoy some of the financial rewards.

This also isn’t a manage from a desk role. The majority of the days are in the field delivering high quality projects on time and under budget – planning, doing, and solving problems with the team we create together.

You’ll get to work with a highly capable team. We’ve been around over 65 years, have a reputation that speaks volumes, and are making the changes needed to win in our business climate.

*Responsibilities*

· Assist business development efforts with technical recommendations and some customer interactions to develop solutions.

· Assist estimating efforts by conducting estimate reviews.

· Participate in resource planning of equipment, materials, and people to make sure projects have the resources they need.

· Manage and coordinate construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

· As the expert in sitework, participate in the hiring, recruiting, training, and professional development of employees.

· Demonstrate excellence on site in the operation of equipment and interactions with employees and sub-contractors.

· Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet design and engineering specifications.

· Monitor project budgets and expenses, adjusting as needed to stay within budget constraints.

· Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion and minimizing delays.

*Skills*

· Proven experience as a leader of sitework teams.

· Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.

· Able to read and interpret construction plans, especially civil engineering plans.

· Able to read grades.

· Technology friendly (or at least open minded) to use and experiment with products that can improve productivity, quality, and safety.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing project requirements.

· Experience with project management, including project scheduling and budgeting.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot construction issues.\\

· Able to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
