Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will define, own and drive technical programs that span multiple engineering teams and organizational boundaries. You will partner with product management and technical leadership to integrate the customer-facing drone delivery workflow with our partner teams. As a technical leader, you will influence strategy and outcomes across Prime Air teams and other external Amazon teams such as the Last Mile Tech, Delivery Experience, Shipment Planning and Execution Coordinator, and Supply Chain Optimization Technologies teams.This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to communicate, influence and earn the trust of software engineers, technical and business leadership.This is an effort with high visibility, and most of the execution plan still to be defined and delivered across multiple VP orgs.About the teamOur teams is responsible for the customer-facing aspects of Prime Air including the retail website and mobile apps. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
