This is a direct hire Production Finisher position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package.

Details:
• 1st Shift:  Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Position Information:
• Set-up, operate and perform basic maintenance on hand spraying equipment production machines and equipment within manufacturing process
• Adjustments to equipment and or production processes
• Set-up, operate and finish assigned parts, using various pieces of equipment including hand-held spray guns
• Cleaning of equipment and tools
• Stack parts after process has been completed to prepare for shipping
• Ensure materials are used efficiently with minimal scrap or waste
• Use ERP system to execute jobs and to record production data
• Read and interpret production routing and blueprint information to ensure all quality standards are achieved
• Assist Material Handlers with movement of raw and/or finished goods
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Prior finishing experience (wood products, automotive finishing, etc.)
• Strong understanding of characteristics of stain and finish, including being able to mix and color match finishes
• Cleaning of handheld spray gun(s)
• Ability to read/understand blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong math skills along with a mechanical aptitude
