Doherty Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a prominent lamination and fabrication firm. We are currently in search of candidates for the role of Moulder Machine Operator on the first shift. This temporary-to-permanent position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $17.00 per hour, contingent upon skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage the operation of one or more wood molding machines to produce high-quality products.
  • Make adjustments, propose enhancements, and implement modifications to the production workflow.
  • Interpret routing, print documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold quality standards.
  • Diagnose issues and conduct root cause analysis of molding machinery.
  • Handle and stack components after executing all required operations on the products.
  • Gather and prepare essential raw materials, tools, and supplies for the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of materials to minimize scrap and waste.
  • Assist material handlers in the movement of raw, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Utilize the ERP system to carry out assigned tasks and document/report production metrics and results.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems, as well as operating computers and scanning devices.
