Doherty Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a prominent lamination and fabrication firm. We are looking for skilled individuals to fill the role of Moulder Operator on the first shift. This is a temp-to-hire position with a competitive pay range of $17.00-$19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage the operation of one or more wood molding machines to produce high-quality items.
  • Make adjustments, propose enhancements, and implement modifications to the production workflow.
  • Maintain effective machine control to ensure optimal production rates.
  • Interpret routing, print documentation, and standard operating procedures to meet quality benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis on molding machinery.
  • Catch and stack components after executing all necessary operations on the product.
  • Gather and prepare essential raw materials, tools, and supplies for the manufacturing process.
  • Optimize material usage to minimize waste and scrap.
  • Assist material handlers in the movement of raw, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage assigned tasks and document production data and results.
  • Complete all relevant documentation associated with each job.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical abilities, including proficiency in metric measurements and basic arithmetic.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems, as well as basic computer operations.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.
