Hours: 40 hours/week in-person (9am to 5pm on weekdays)

Work Expectations:

● Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical debugging and repair

● Adding components to vehicles and testing them

● Complete assignments by following simple schematic wiring diagrams and written instructions

● Making reports about tasks assigned and sending them to the engineering teams

● Helping in the delivery of Boson vehicles to customers

● Traveling to customer sites to fix any issues that arise on their Boson vehicles or to help in solar installation

● Helping in the transport of materials between company locations

● Maintain inventory of tools and parts available in the workspace

● Keep the working area clean and organized

● Maintain and service equipment on the shop floor (i.e. 3D printers, drill press, waterjet, and laser cutters, etc)

● Willing to take up other tasks and help other technicians as required

● Willing to come into work or attend meetings outside of business hours occasionally

 

Skills Required:

Mandatory:

● Advanced knowledge of working with electrical systems

● Should be comfortable working with high and low voltage circuits

● Experience with the use of various electronic diagnostic and measurement tools (i.e multi-meter, crimping tools, soldering iron, etc.)

● Ability to work with common tools found on a shop floor

● Ability to work well with others, collaborate on projects, and contribute positively to group dynamics

● Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle multiple tasks or projects, and adjust to new ideas or approaches

● Capability to efficiently manage time to meet deadlines

 

Additional skills (not mandatory):

● Prior experience doing hands-on work on electric vehicles

● Capability to drive a pickup truck and tow a trailer

● 3D printer maintenance

● Ability to weld
