Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Goliath Construction Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, ensuring clear communication, and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial resources to ensure project profitability.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, financial status, and any issues that may arise.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, providing technical guidance and support to the project team.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects successfully, with institutional experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification, preferred.
