Here's the scop - Summary

The Industrial Engineering Technicianworks across the supply chain organization to support process improvement utilizing both investigative analyses and project work. The position will work with stakeholders in all areas of supply chain to identify, value, and pursue improvement opportunities through all phases of improvement (DMAIC approach).

This position is based out of our manufacturing facility in Auburn, KY.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Support Fuel For Growth (FFG) initiatives across the Supply Chain group.
  • Track FFG savings, provide timely progress updates, and coordinate actions to mitigate missed opportunities.
  • Interact and coordinate improvement activities and projects within supply chain and across departments.
  • Utilize production, ERP, and all other available data sources to provide insight into product, process, and other potential efficiencies.
  • Assist supply chain partners with data analysis and transformations.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure that automated reporting needs are met providing sustainable reporting solutions.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
  • B.S. Mathematics, Information Management or Statistics preferred; professional experience and Six Sigma certification(s) to be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations and knowledge of general food manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Identify problems with data and propose solutions for correction.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency with standard software for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphic processing.
  • Ability to set priorities, utilize and coordinate resources, and manage projects from start to finish with little or no supervision.
