Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for an Inventory Control Clerk in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Salary: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:00am to 2:15pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs regularly scheduled cycle counts of packaging and products.
Verifies accuracy of counts and inventory in the system.
Assists the Production group with immediate response to disruptions caused by inventory discrepancies.
Researches discrepancies by examining transactions, documents, material movement procedures and communicating with interested people.
Collaborates with others to solve problems.
Acts as a liaison between Inventory Control, Purchasing and Production to promptly correct or prevent materials disruptions.
Conducts audit counts during scheduled physical inventory.
Performs special inventories and audits as required.
Maintains established quality and quantity standards.
Experience and Educational Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent specific experience
Minimum of 1-2 years inventory related experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Must have basic math skills.
