Duties and Responsibilities Advance the mission, vision, and short and long‑term goals of TROY University and the Office of Development. Maintain a dynamic portfolio of individuals and priority corporate prospective donors to solicit lead annual gifts (up to $25,000) and meet or exceed agreed‑upon annual metrics. Serve as a member of the Office of Development frontline fundraisers team for Leadership Annual Giving gifts and participate in prospect management and prospect strategy meetings. Work under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving to coordinate all key strategic solicitations and annual giving events. Assist the Director of Annual Giving with the management of student workers. Assist with other development projects as needed and directed by the Director of Annual Giving. Serve as an exemplary TROY University advocate in the community, local leaders, alumni organizations, business and corporate partners, and other key constituents. Be active and involved in the advancement profession and faithfully represent TROY University in a collegiate and professional manner. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. One to three years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, events, or customer services fields. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize. Ability to interact with a wide variety of constituents. Excellent computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility. Work Hours M-F, 8-5. Some evenings and weekends required.
