Director of Annual Giving The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive annual giving strategy to support Emma Willard School’s Annual Giving programs and alumnae participation goals. The Emma Fund is the annual giving program that helps support the financial health and sustainability of the school. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute Emma Willard’s annual giving plan, deploy marketing materials, and achieve annual goals for dollars and participation. Plan, develop, edit, and execute various annual giving appeals and programs such as Fall and Spring Appeals, special parent solicitations, Reunion, and other project-based fundraising. Demonstrate hands‑on management skills with a track record in managing cross‑functional projects and work seamlessly with internal Communications and external vendors. Manage crowdfunding software to inspire and leverage specific donor segments and key fundraising initiatives. Analyze data to determine success of programs/outcomes. Minimum Qualifications / Competencies Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant setting. Strong written and oral communication skills (writing samples requested). Ability to travel on behalf of the school and attend events as required. Strong computer skills and experience with fundraising software, preferably Raiser's Edge. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to think strategically and utilize data to analyze outcomes and determine program success. Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies including alumnae, parents, students, faculty, staff, and trustees. Salary $85,000 - $105,000 based on education and experience.
