Job Title: Assistant to the President of Interactive and New Media


This Assistant will both support the President of Interactive and New Media with his day-to-day needs as well as perform general departmental duties both ongoing and as needed. This individual will garner a unique vantage point, being intimately involved in the inner-workings of both gaming and cross-media application of IP. 


The learning opportunities here are limitless.

 

This position is full-time and onsite at our West Hollywood, CA campus (currently three days in office, two days remote).

 

Need Timing: ASAP

 

Core Responsibilities:

Manage executive’s calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and travel.

Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, reviews, screenings and play testing sessions.

Interface with content creators/developers, key industry partners and external studios with poise and professionalism.

Handle highly confidential information, dispersing data and material with external studios and IP holders thoughtfully. 

Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf, as needed.

Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for meetings. Document meeting minutes, action items, and status updates.

Answer incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner and accurately take messages.

Handle printing, scanning, mailing/overnighting packages, copying, filing, and emailing messages.

Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports for executive.

Create and maintain pertinent tracking materials so all are abreast of project milestones and status updates.

Assess needs of executive and department proactively, attending to potential issues before they arise.

Research and stay attune of important news, projects and people in the entertainment community.

Be agile with the ability to switch gears, discern and manage tasks based on urgency and importance.

Enjoy the content creation process through and through and revel in the finished project

 

Required Skills/Qualities:

· Native or bilingual level Spanish and English proficiency required (this role will be working extensively with LATAM based Development Teams).

· An avid gamer

· Previous assistant experience is a necessity and experience within the gaming world is a huge bonus.

· A kind and considerate person who brings an energy of fun and passion to a growing gaming department.

· Proficiency in a variety of technical tools including Microsoft Office, Slack, Discord, etc.

· Highly organized and savvy with organizational software and tools, always staying on trend with the latest and greatest to promote departmental efficacy.

· Personable with an ease when talking with executives or key players in the entertainment industry.

· A passion for games but also an interest in other media including Film, TV, Animation, Theatre, etc.

· An ability to embrace change and thrive in an ever-evolving environment.

· Humility with tasks, taking the no task is too small approach to best support the executive and departmental goals.

· An excitement and passion for all things games and media and the ability to have fun with it

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (overtime eligible)
