Sales Director – USA Join Menzies Aviation LATAM as a Sales Director responsible for driving sales growth and managing key accounts across the USA. Reports to: Director, CommercialLocation: Grapevine, TXSalary: Commensurate with skills and experience Overview Deliver sales growth and general key account management activities across a designated portfolio of accounts, assuming USA-wide responsibility for all commercial opportunities. Build and influence relationships with airline and airport personnel, act as the subject‑matter expert on winning and retaining business in the USA marketplace, and lead key accounts, collaborating with regional teams to drive opportunities. Main Accountabilities Include: Taking responsibility for Ground Handling, Cargo and additional sales growth within the USA; ensuring retention of existing business on suitable terms. Creating a network of contacts and influencers within each key account airline to understand strategy and develop proposals that meet or exceed requirements. Working with station, regional and commercial key‑account colleagues to understand local opportunities, create tender‑winning proposals and retain existing business. Managing customer relationships with structured business review meetings and proactive communications. Developing the sales pipeline by generating new leads and horizon‑scanning for future opportunities. Managing sales opportunities for RFP processes and unsolicited proposals to secure a high win rate. Assisting in the production of regional and key‑account sales plans to ensure they are fully developed. Creating and delivering high‑quality sales collateral tailored to customers’ needs. Implementing customer engagement plans and preparing customer review meetings. Maximizing the CRM system by ensuring all opportunities and customer information are captured and updated. Safety, Security and Compliance Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others. Be fully versed in International Aviation Safety and Security standards. Co‑operate with your manager/supervisor to comply with legal requirements. Report hazards, near‑misses, incidents and dangerous occurrences. Attend training as arranged by the company and comply with health and safety policies. Qualifications and Experience Degree in business or a related field. At least five years of experience in the aviation sector, working in commercial and/or operational disciplines. Proven experience working with major customers and in complex organizations with a global footprint. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old, pass pre‑employment background and drug screen, and be comfortable lifting 35 lbs. Key Skills and Competencies Strong sales orientation and ability to identify and execute opportunities. Customer focus – ability to engage with all levels and understand customer requirements. Proactive initiative to identify opportunities. Strong presentational skills for pitching proposals. Data‑driven – ability to analyze information to view opportunities.
