Key Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of project management experience, specifically focusing on infrastructure projects, SAP implementations, and factory operations.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation, infrastructure management, and factory cutovers. Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in sales distribution, supply chain management, or project management
  • Demonstrated experience in handling cutover planning processes within complex projects, including system migrations, go-lives, or major transitions
  • Background experience preferably in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehousing
  • Strong experience managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring third-party service providers meet project goals and deadlines


Desirable Skills

  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders across various regions and cultures
  • Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and collaborate with various SMEs and leadership teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification



Overview

We are seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to lead two critical initiatives: the establishment of a Distribution Center (DC) and the acquisition and setup of a new factory in Hugoton, Kansas. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in an innovative, large-scale expansion. The role requires a proven track record in infrastructure projects, deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and demonstrated experience managing factory cutovers and ERP implementations.


Role & Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through execution, testing, and launch. Ensure that both the DC setup and factory acquisition projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and external vendors to align on project goals, requirements, and timelines.

Infrastructure Setup: Coordinate and manage all infrastructure-related aspects of the DC and factory setup, including site preparation, equipment sourcing, logistics planning, and regulatory compliance.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Oversee the integration of SAP S/4HANA within both the distribution center and factory operations, ensuring seamless functionality aligned with business needs.

Factory Cutover Management: Develop a structured cutover plan to transition existing factory processes and data to the new facility with minimal disruption.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any potential challenges in alignment with project goals and timelines.

Reporting & Documentation: Regularly provide project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and thorough documentation at every stage.
