The ideal candidate will oversee the financial operations of our funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is critical in supporting investment strategies and enhancing the overall financial performance of the firm.

Client Details

Our client is a multi-billion dollar investment management firm with offices across the east coast U.They have been managing assets since 2006, and are committed to achieving outstanding performance. Their dedicated team aims for exceptional performance by uncovering market inefficiencies and recognizing undervalued investment opportunities, with a strong emphasis on risk management and capital preservation.

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of assigned funds.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to analyze fund performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for funds.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fund accounting.

Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software).
