Dining Service Director

Overview: Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Service Director to oversee food service operations in a healthcare facility. This leadership role requires ensuring food quality, adherence to safety standards, and the delivery of exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service management and nutrition, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage food service program, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
  • Maintain records of income, expenditures, and inventory levels
  • Train and in-service staff to meet company standards
  • Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols
  • Ensure a sanitary environment is achieved at all times

Qualifications:

  • Degree in food service management or hospitality preferred
  • Specialized training in foodservice management and nutrition required
  • Certification in food protection management and/or dietary management
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and personnel supervision desired
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain records
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine tasks continuously
