Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Security Analyst to join our Cyber Threat team in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess strong investigation and triage skills, operating within a structured playbook to identify and respond to security threats. This role is crucial in investigating, outlining, and initiating steps to respond to security incidents, ensuring the safety and integrity of our client's information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate within a structured playbook to investigate and triage security incidents.
Escalate high-risk cases and identify anomalies in security operations.
Conduct thorough investigations and outline response steps for security incidents.
Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive threat management and incident response.
Utilize SEIM products for monitoring and analyzing security events.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Investigate and triage security incidents according to established playbooks.
Escalate cases based on threat levels and identify anomalies in security operations.
Initiate and outline response steps for security incidents.
Collaborate with the Cyber Threat team to manage and respond to security threats effectively.
Must Have:
2+ years of experience as an Information Security Analyst (or similar role).
Experience with SEIM products.
Strong ability to investigate, triage, and escalate security incidents per threat level.
Experience in an enterprise-level environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Chronicle or Splunk.
Familiarity with tools such as CrowdStrike, NetWitness, XSOAR, VirusTotal, etc.
GCIH Certification or any other SANS certifications.
