Seeking a passionate and innovative Technical Product Engineer to be an embedded support system to our state customers as we are rapidly expanding. This person will force-multiply our ability to deliver results for key customers and drive expansion to future opportunities for Ready. You will translate customer requests into impactful features and navigate the complexities of development, bridging the gap between technical feasibility and user-centric design, and ensuring our customers' needs don’t fall through the cracks.

About your role at Ready

  1. Collaborate with product managers and engineers (PED) to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with user needs.
  2. Capture, document, and communicate client requirements with the core team while adhering to the agreed upon format to convey priority.
  3. Proactively identify and manage risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams, advocating for solutions and driving efficient execution.
  4. Develop, utilize, and perform effective test strategies to ensure quality and performance of implemented features.
  5. Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the development process.
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools, promoting a culture of innovation and agility.
  7. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting opportunities for product enhancement.
  8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
  9. Conduct client training and education on Ready Software tools.

A bit about you

  1. Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on computer science, engineering, or similar technical field.
  2. 0-3 years experience working in a technical role.
  3. Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Passion for building user-friendly and impactful products.
  6. Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  7. Builder mentality with proven experience in customer facing roles.
  8. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., React, Python etc).
  9. Demonstrated understanding of user experience (UX) principles and practices.
  10. Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  11. Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and web APIs.
  12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
  13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  14. A passion for user-centered design and clean coding practice.
  15. Ability to operate independently and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
