Responsibilities

Lead staff in performing clinical or patient care activities.

  • Lead or coordinate daily operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
  • Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
  • Assign, monitor, and review progress of work and compliance with policies and/or procedures.
  • Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
  • May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
  • Work with the providers in the clinic as well as administrative duties. Performs vitals.
  • Design, interpret, and implement clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date.
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience
    required.
Additional Preferences
  • Bachelor's in Nursing, Current Illinois RN licensure
    Minimum 5 years experience in behavioral/mental health nursing
    Prior experience in a charge/lead RN role.
  • Mon-Thurs, 8AM-5:30PM Fri, 8AM-12PM
